The Company:
Our major Oil & Gas Client is in need of Project Delivery/Facility Engineers in Houston, Texas and Denver, Colorado.

The Role:
• The purpose of a Project Engineer is to deliver top quartile projects from the identify-select phase through the define,execution and operations phases including project close out
• The project engineer is accountable for the safe and successful delivery of top
quartile scope,cost and schedule of the projects they are assigned through all
phases of the project (PreDG3 support,Post DG3 project development,
engineering,procurement and construction ending with turnover to OR&A for
• Coordinates safe day-today activities of the Project Team in meeting business
objectives by optimizing project execution subject to agreed upon cost,schedule and technical requirements
• Act as the Client focal point for directing contractors involved in the execution of the assigned work
These accountabilities include development and delivery of:
• HSS&E Plan
• Project Execution plan
• Basis of Design
• Communicating project status including milestones,schedule and budget
• Final design selection
• Detailed design facilitation to include
• Compliance with applicable standards
• QA/QC of design
• Compliance with applicable governmental regulations
• Documentation and version control of designs
• Contract awarding (engineering and construction)
• Procurement phase
• Construction phase
• Technical assurance of the project via the Project Control and Assurance Plan
• Stakeholder engagement
• Project Processes following
• Management of change
• Project Delivery Roadmap or Opportunity Realization Process
• Project preparation for turnover to commissioning/operations
• Updating redline documentation
• Project Close Out
• Perform after action review

The activities that the Project Engineer include (but are not limited to):
• Develop project HSS&E plan
• Develop PEP (Project Execution Plan)
• Coordinating the project team to deliver the plan
• Communicate with stakeholders
• Coordinating inner dependencies with other teams
• Preparing construction readiness documentation
• Managing risks through maintenance of a project risk register
• Benchmarking other related projects
• Staffing their projects
• Specific focus on leading delivery of infrastructure projects supporting oil and gas fields (including gas plant facilities,well site facilities,compressor stations,
pipelines,metering stations )
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the
Project Manager for the overall asset

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• B.S. Degree: Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering
• At least 15 to 20 years engineering experience in Oil and gas
• Experience in Project Management is necessary
• Experience working across a projects organization to ensure delivery (e.g. with construction superintendents,project services team, development engineers, ventures)
• Skilled at managing contractor performance and experience working with
commercial arrangements
• HSE/HEMP aspects of project definition/execution
• Effective management of project risks
• Integrate operational requirements and philosophies into the project execution
• A number of the operational sites have complex external stakeholder
relationships which need to be included in overall project management and day to day project execution
