The Role:
The Project Delivery Manager will be accountable for a quality, on time and in budget delivery of the overall development in line with the project sanction package. Here, delivery is defined beyond project scope into “stable oil production and water injection by operations”

The Project Delivery Manager will provide leadership and direction to the team and ensures the safe and environmentally acceptable delivery of the project, following company in project management.

Key Responsibilities

The Project Delivery Manager will be responsible for delivering a safe project which is technically sound and is delivered in line with the expected schedule and budget and in accordance with company.

◦Works closely with the company Projects Manager, project Asset Dev Mgr (Opportunity lead) and other cross company functions to ensure efficient project execution that is aligned with the company business and maximising the cross functional capabilities of Company.
◦Liaises closely with the operations group to ensure smooth, efficient offshore project delivery to the end client.
◦Manages the project delivery team, ensures activities are prioritised effectively and that the team delivers results in line with approved plans and timescales and in strict compliance with Company standards and procedures and relevant regulatory requirements.
◦Develops/Maintains a high level of responsibility and ownership within the team and promotes continuous striving to deliver the agreed scope to cost and schedule.
◦Ensures project documentation is prepared and maintained in line with companys project management and documentation management processes.
◦Ensures that the project is fully commissioned and properly handed over to the operations group inclusive of all punchlist items, verification, training, maintenance routines, sparing strategies etc.
◦Ensures that highly effective project communication and reporting processes are established and maintained between all parties involved in the development and that key contributors are kept advised of progress and clearly understand their responsibilities and commitments.
◦Manages the overall project development budget.
◦Supports the Discipline Project Managers in the tendering and selection processes and subsequent contracts that drive alignment and delivery.
◦Works closely with selected contractor teams to ensure the effective delivery of services and contract compliance.
◦Develops highly positive relationships with all appropriate external stakeholders (Partners, DECC, HSE as appropriate).
◦Makes visits offshore to enhance onshore-offshore relationships/communications, etc.
◦May be required to participate in the duty rota for emergencies & incidents.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Engineering degree
◦Demonstrable experience in multi-functional project delivery
◦Excellent Safety leadership
◦Experience/Awareness in all areas of Topsides, Subsea and Drilling
◦Commercial awareness and experience working with Partners
◦Good Contract management awareness including tendering, contract negotiation and set up including KPI’s
◦ Partnership and Teamworking – demonstrable commitment to the success of the team and the wider organisation
◦Performance Bias – ability to take account of the impact of delivery on the business balance.
◦Business Insight – ability to understand and take into account the interdependencies between customers, suppliers and other stakeholders

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Chartered status, Suitable Demonstrable Project Management Training
A track record including delivery of subsea tiebacks
