The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
The Programme Management Team is responsible for leading the whole vehicle project team to specify the vehicle, develop, engineer, manufacture and release designs to enable delivery of the new L462 vehicle programme, and subsequent Cycle Plan update projects using the Programme management toolset, to exacting Delivery, Quality, Cost, Weight, and Time objectives.
The position of Project Engineer is to support the Vehicle Project Managers in workstreams to deliver the vehicle utilising a considered project management and business led approach

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate the ability to lead the resolution of business, technical and process issues within a Project Team environment. - Good communication, interpersonal skills, self-confidence and a 'passion for the product' are personal qualities needed to succeed in this exciting high-pressure environment, being self-motivated and able to deliver with minimum supervision. - A thorough understanding of project management approach to delivery of a complex projects is required, with understanding and knowledge of Product Development processes and programme delivery principles being desirable, but not essential as training can be given where skills in certain areas may need bolstering
Preferably degree qualified within engineering, business or project management disciplines OR recognised technical, business or project management time served apprenticeship
