The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Project Engineer for Hardware component delivery.

You will be responsible for managing the timing and delivery of the Brackets & Structural covers for the High Voltage Components.

Key tasks Include:-
* Working/Managing suppliers to ensure components are delivered to plan & on time
* Planning Design Verification sign off tests
* Managing Engineering Changes Supporting
* Manufacturing build events and solving any subsequent issues

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Applied working knowledge of DFMEA, PFMEA, APQP Techniques
* Knowledge of Metal Pressings & Fabrication techniques
* Good Project Management Skills
* Good Communication Skills
* Ablility to use MS Excel & Powerpoint
* HNC/HND (or equivalent) qualification in a Mechanical or Automotive subject/background

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
* Experience of Project management & Component delivery
* Previous experience managing component suppliers
* Experience of writing component standards and PFMEA, DFMEAs
* Experience of Delivering Pressed Components
