The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
The role is to:
1. Support for individual Programme teams by:
* Development of a common timing template for all engine programmes
* Support / Lead writing and maintenance of Engine Programme Plans (EPP's) and vehicle Roll-Out Plans
* Development of a common updating process
* Detailed look ahead, e.g. concerns in system, release dates

2. Cross-Programme Timing Plan coordination
* Development of cross-programme timing plans
* Combining key elements from all EPP's (e.g. Master Gateway Plan, Master Build Plan, Vehicle Roll Out Plans)
* Identify and resolve clashes working closely together with Project Teams

3. Generic
* Point of entry into PT-3 for timing issues
* Development and maintenance of shared programme timing area

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Education or experience and successful track record of work in a similar or related role (e.g. Programme Planner, Programme Assistant)
* Experience of coordination of timing schedules for complex programmes
* Experience of arranging and chairing meetings
* Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
* Able to work self- initiated and coordinate / direct the actions of contributing functions
* High level of accuracy and eye for detail
* Able to reflect the big picture of activities and draw efficient conclusions
* Able to multi-task and manage own work plan to ensure engine programme requirements are met
* IT literate (MS office suite)
* Minimum good GCSE passes in Mathematics and English language

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
* Experience in an automotive related environment - OEM or Tier 1
* Business, Programme Management or Finance related qualifications
