The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
"Management of key metrics for AME programmes throughout the life of a programme, e.g. Investment, Hrs/Car, Change Management documentation (AIMS, PACNs) ¿ Form strong working relationships with other areas of the business to ensure swift progression of engineering change including, design, finance, advanced / current mfg & programme teams. Manage/support change management process representing AME attending daily change management dial ins. Responsible for interpretation, distribution & gathering responses to Programme Direction Letters / queries relating to Programme activities for MY programmes. Generate reports / presentation material to support change management process. Must be able to represent the department at change management & various programme events to include AIMs, start ups and PACN reviews. Candidates should be self-motivated with strong communication skills & show initiative in progressing technical issues, seeking input from other areas within AME. Candidates should demonstrate strong project management skills, possess a sound level of business / financial acumen & good analytical capabilities. ¿ Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and negotiate between conflicting business interests. Working within a dynamic, fast moving environment. Ability to function at a high level as part of a team but also work autonomously to deliver. Candidates should be adaptable & able to manage a variety of tasks with differing deadlines & priority levels across the business"

Additional Information: "Candidates must have use of own vehicle and flexibility to commute between UK plant sites on an occasional basis. This is a long term position. I am looking to build a strong, dynamic team for the medium/long term so am looking for an individual to commit to the role for the foreseeable future. I will encourage self development, within the remit of a contract position and will offer 'informal' 1:1 feedback & development reviews with the selected individual"

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Experience Required: Highly proficient in use of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Experience Preferred: Experience of project management/engineering in a manufacturing environment is preferred ¿ Knowledge of manufacturing facilities & processes ¿ preferably automotive ¿ Ability to demonstrate a working understanding of project cost control
