Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.
"As a member of the Chassis Launch team, the position requires the individual to support Production Engineering with issues arising during pre-production builds, from root cause analysis to implementation of containment and fix. Reporting out to Management at Start-up and End of Shift reviews on the resolution of design, quality and build issues, using disciplined problem solving process. This role will require administration and management of actions using company systems, tools & Processes. The Engineer will be based at a Plant in Austria for the duration of the contract. "
3 KEY SKILLS
Good overall Chassis system knowledge.
Ability to interface directly with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality and Product Engineering functions.
Flexible, adaptable and excellent communicator Written / Oral
Additional Information: Initially based in the UK (Coventry) to gain Product Knowledge for application at a overseas. Manufacturing plant. It is anticipated that once pre-productions builds are completed then resource will transition to provide. Production Support working in a plant based team.
Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Experience Required: Computer literate in Google, PowerPoint, Excel and Microsoft Project. Valid driving licence
Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Experience Preferred: It is anticipated that applicants will be educated to a degree level in an engineering or automotive discipline. However candidates with significant Chassis/vehicle experience will also be considered.
