The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Release & Follow Up Analyst / Material Controller Release & Follow Up (R&FU) analyst is responsible for scheduling in purchased parts from our global supply base to meet the engine production plan, for managing inventory within agreed budgets and to minimise premium freight transport. Stong communication with JLR support departments (including Quality, Logistics, Freight) is essential. Scope also includes managing engineering change, and working with suppliers and transport companies to create recovery plans where risk to production is identified.

Skills Required:
3 KEY SKILLS REQUIRED
1. MRP system literacy (experience of using SAP desirable though not essential)
2. Problem solving capability
3. Strong communication skills - written and verbal


Experience Required:
experience in a fast-paced, high volume manufacturing environment is essential, doing an R&FU or similar role.

Experience Preferred:
Experience of using SAP would be highly desirable. Previous automotive or powertrain experience also an advantage.
