The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
This role will provide support to the Architectural Module Leader for specific programmes within the D8 Architecture.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage agreement of system specifications and architecture interfaces for a given programme, ensuring compatibility with Attribute Teams (Vehicle Dynamics, Durability and Reliability, Weight, NVH for example).
- Manage delivery of SST content to meet PSW, Quality and cost objectives.
- Manage cost estimate generation to support agreed assumptions and specifications, creating and submitting required documentation on component piece costs, vendor tooling and Design and Development costs.
- Manage accurate Bill of Material for SST, and ensure maintenance for BOM/Cost validation events.

Skills Required:
Experience of working within an Automotive OE
A basic understanding of Chassis suspension components
Ability to take a strong leadership role

Experience Required:
Key skills:
- High drive, self-motivated and able to deliver with minimum supervision. Good leadership and influencing skills.
- Able to communicate confidently at all levels within the business and the supplier base.
- Understanding of SST components, key interfaces with the Vehicle architecture, and impact on Attribute performance. This requires a significant ability to apply strong leadership to the Module team to effect efficient design solutions at minimal complexity.
- Ability to manage delivery objectives, identify conflict with attribute requirements and be able to escalate for swift resolution.
