The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
"AIM Programme Co-ordinator / Support Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
¿ Manage model year programme AIM decks in line with programme timing ensuring timely and robust resolution to AIM issues.
¿ Accurate and objective status reporting through the application of LQOS and other agreed programme deliverables.
¿ Preparing/compiling materials for weekly Launch Management Meetings. ¿ Facilitate AIM assignment meetings, validation reviews and GEBA events.
¿ Support teams in the structured problem resolution of launch issues and support other NMP activities within the wider team."

Skills Required:
3 KEY SKILLS REQUIRED
1. Ability to co-ordinate multifunctional teams.
2. PC literate, good working knowledge of Microsoft packages.
3. Ability to negotiate AIM / problem ownership.

Experience Required:
"¿ Personable, a good communicator of both written and verbal information. ¿ Engineering or manufacturing background. ¿ Must have a thorough, logical approach to issues, with high attention to detail."

Experience Preferred:
"¿ Prior experience with AIM's ¿ Pro-active self-starter, demonstrates initiative and dynamic approach."

Additional Information :
" Department: New Model Programmes have responsibility for leading & co-ordinating all Business Functions with the objective of achieving flawless Product Launches, on time, to cost targets, with achievement of quality targets and to the highest levels of customer satisfaction. This requires interaction & co-ordination of Manufacturing, Product Development, Purchasing, Suppliers and the Marketing, Sales & Service activities."
