The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
"The role will be to manage a Powertrain system delivery into a off road vehicle. This will include strong project management skills and good Powertrain systsme engineering skills to deliver a low volume product into production. Lead problem resolution of all Powertrain issues on project. Full support of vehicle level project meetings, Vehicle Engineering meetings, Powertrain CoC interface, Build support, SVO Powertrain Project Review Vehicle engine Powertrain DVP development with Vehicle Engineering and CoC. Task planning and co-ordination for all Powertrain activities and there deliverables into gateway meetings"

Skills Required:
1. Powertrain Engineering system knowledge and capability
2, Project Management of fast delivery projects
3. Engineering problem resolution

Experience Required:
"Engineering degree required Previous Powertrain system development and project management experience required Motorsport experience of Powertrain systems Experience of a role showing both technical and project management capabilities"

Experience Preferred:
"Automotive Engineering experience with an understanding of automotive product creation and delivery tools like enovia PLM. Extensive experience Supplier management Quality tools like FMEA and problem solving RFQ process PDS creation Releasing and WERS Issue Management - AIMS Requirement Management - eFDVS/RMDV iPLM Powertrain system DV Software Skills - PC Literate, MS Office Proficiency, MS Project knowledge"

Additional Information :
NOTE: Would be a DISTINCT ALL or most advantage to have the following: WERS /RMDV trained. Ideally trained in RMDV PACN , AIMS, PPIR , 8D & DFMEA , plus working knowledge of the STA / PPAP PSW Process
