The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Project Engineer, Body Engineering Quality (Product Development) to support both the current and forward model quality processes. Supporting the department with the implementation and reporting of in-process measures of Quality within the assigned new model programme, throughout the product creation process up to point of launch. The role involves interfacing with system teams and suppliers for all Body Engineering delivery content and escalating issues with quality impact for resolution at a senior level in the Body team. Publishing of weekly progress reports. Generation of bi-monthly status reports for internal reviews and the organising of quality related events for the department.

They must be comfortable working on their own initiative as well as part of a team and have high levels of self motivation They must be expert in the use of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) and have: - Excellent interpersonal skills - An ability to work to tight deadlines with often conflicting demands - An ablity to interrogate complex data - A strong believer in robust process to achieve quality delviery

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Successful history of project management delivery,

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
FMEA (Failure Mode Effect and Analysis) Literate Google Mail Front Page Web Design Training can be provided for proprietary systems
Ideally within the automotive sector or adjacent industries, eg rail, aerospace, defence, energy etc Exposure to Lean or Six Sigma processes and tools
