The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Lead for the Perceived Quality attribute on a vehicle programme(s)
-Define vehicle requirements for the 'Crafted' and 'Materials ingredients elements of the attribute
-Development of standards for 'Crafted' and 'Materials ingredients of the attribute.
-Lead 'Quality Maturation process' which includes liaison with cross business functions, of Company Quality, New model Programs. Design. Advanced Manufacturing and Plant.
-Lead development of target setting for Gap Plans, which involves vehicle measurement data capture.
- Work closely collaboration between the vehicle attributes, and vehicle Engineering Management.
- Work closely collaboration with Advanced product creation team, on future program.
- Work closely with D.V.A, on process, and vehicle assembly requirements.
- Present to vehicle line forums to provide status updates and seek support.
- Work closely with Engineering teams in defining solutions to provide best in class Perceived Quality

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Ideal candidate should be an enthusiastic, forward looking, lateral thinker with proven creative, experience,
- Be able to demonstrate the ability to lead the resolution of technical issues (and associated business cases) within a team environment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, self confidence and a 'passion for the product' are personal qualities needed to succeed in this high pressure environment, being self motivated and able to deliver with minimum supervision.
- Strong analytical skills, with high creativity levels and a good understanding of modern and future technologies.
- History of working or leading projects will be a distinct advantage.
- Experience of program or project management, meeting demanding timescales, budget control and cost effective delivery essential.
- Experience of plant based assembly and manufacturing problems
Proven history of delivery within the automotive sector
Ideally Degree educated

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Any person supplied should have a valid UK driving licence and meet the medical requirements of the Clients facilities
Working knowledge of project delivery processes GPDS / FPDS
