The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Liaise with key stakeholder within Body Engineering as well as buyers, materials engineering and homologation across the business.

Provide metrics and feedback to improve efficiency of delivery
Support various build timings to meet Programme delivery gateways
Ensure security of data by setting up Leap-file accounts and maintaining traceability
Establish key working relationships with UK incumbent suppliers

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
The successful applicant will have a proven track record for delivery which is critical to this operation

Excellent communications and presentation skills.
Demonstrated ability to communicate at all levels
PC Literacy - Microsoft Project, Power Point, Excel, Word etc.
Able to assimilate large quantities of data
Co-ordination and planning skills
Proven record of ability in the use of business planning tools
Self motivated to achieve results in an efficient manner, making effective use of all resources available
Creative and innovative, able and willing to co-operate in cross-functional teams
The commitment to deliver quality results in a flexible and dynamic team environment
Proven project time line management
Knowledge of problem resolution processes
Working knowledge of project delivery processes
Working knowledge of change management processes

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Engineering knowledge of Body Engineering component design, function, performance, production & manufacturing requirements
Significant experience in use of engineering tools - FMEA, Six Sigma, problem resolution etc.
Familiar with 8D process
Working knowledge of our clients applications, e.g. TCe, WERS & AIMS - Understanding of the GPDS (PCS) process and appreciation of the wider business context"
History of involvement within the automotive sector
Ideally degree educated
