The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Body Engineering Sub system project coordinator responsible for the localisation of European parts to offshore manufactures with a particular focus on JLR’s expanding business in China.
- Liaise with key stakeholder within Body Engineering as well as external JLR customers
- Provide metrics and feedback to improve efficiency of delivery.
- Support various build timings to meet Programme delivery gateways.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
The successful applicant will have a proven track record for delivery which is critical to this operation.
- Excellent communications and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate at all levels
- PC Literacy : Microsoft Project, Power Point, Excel, Word etc.
- Able to assimilate large quantities of data
- Co-ordination and planning skills
- Proven record of ability in the use of business planning tools
- Self motivated to achieve results in an efficient manner, making effective use of all resources available
- Creative and innovative, able and willing to co-operate in cross-functional teams
- The commitment to deliver quality results in a flexible and dynamic team environment
- Proven project time line management Knowledge of problem resolution processes
- Working knowledge of project delivery processes
- Working knowledge of change management processes

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Engineering knowledge of Body Engineering component design, function, performance, production & manufacturing requirements.
- Working knowledge of Engineering tools: FMEA, Six Sigma, problem resolution etc would be beneficial.
- Working knowledge of JLR/Ford applications, eg TCe, WERS & AIMS a distinct advantage
- Understanding of the GPDS (PCS) process and appreciation of the wider business context
- Mandarin speaker would be beneficial but not essential
- History of involvement within the automotive sector
- Ideally degree educated
