The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Position Description:

Reporting to the Current Quality Manager within the Body Engineering Quality team and will be responsible for leading a small team of Engineers delivering vehicle protection solutions. The aspects of the role are as follows:

- Co-ordination and delivery of engineering solutions across each vehicle line
- Issue resolution
- Creation and management of the overall vehicle protection solution timing plan
- Lead input at progress meetings involving Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality and Service
- Facilitate reviews with manufacturing teams
- Budget management

Skills Required:
- Significant project management capability, ideally encompassing work with suppliers
- Experience of project management techniques such as PRINCE or similar qualifications
- Proven ability to manage and lead multiple assignments and projects.
- Logical and methodical approach to component applications, verification and validation
- Effective communicator with strong organisational, presentation and numerical skills
- PC Literacy in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word etc
- Ability to deliver with minimal supervision and to work remotely from the support team as required
- Ability to work in a demanding and fast-paced environment
- Exhibits a can-do approach
- Full UK Driving licence

Skills Preferred:
- Working knowledge of change management processes: AIMS, WERS, PACN
- General Engineering knowledge of Body components
- design, function, performance, production and manufacturing requirements
- Working knowledge project delivery processes
- PCS/GPDS/PPAP
- Experience in the use of engineering tools
- FMEA, six sigma, problem resolution (8D) etc

Experience Required:
- Successful history of delivery within the automotive sector at an OEM or tier #1 supplier

Experience Preferred:
- Ideally within the automotive sector or adjacent industries, eg rail, aerospace, defence, energy

Education Required:
- Ideally degree educated
