The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Position Description:
The successful candidate will be required to work with minimal supervision. Flexibility is a main requirement where the type tasks can vary from day to day. Body Structure issue (AIMS) management, involving the regular collation, assignment and distribution of departmental AIMS to the body teams. Creation of Body Structure DFMEA quality documentation to support Failure Mode Avoidance (FMA) criteria and programme timing. WERs releasing of Body Structures parts to support S, T & P release phases. Change (PACN) approval co-ordination. Preparation of the supplier Request for Quote (RFQ) pack, Cost Packs and supplier nomination support. Bill of Materials (BOM) creation for various Body Structure build phases, incorporating part validation, part buy-off and quality loops. Creation of a Body Structures specific PCS Timing plan Co-ordinating the cross functional Process Chain meetings

Skills Required:
Project management capability Excellent communications and presentation skills. Ability to communicate at all levels. Experience in use of engineering tools
FMEA, WERS, PACN, AIMS. PC Literacy
Microsoft Project, Power Point, Excel, Word etc.

Skills Preferred:
Engineering knowledge of Body Structures component design, function, performance, production & manufacturing requirements.

Experience Required:
Successful history of project management delivery

Experience Preferred:
Ideally within the automotive sector or adjacent industries, eg rail, aerospace, defence, energy etc

Education Required:
Ideally degree educated
