The Company:
Our Client is a Leading Global Operator in the Oil and Gas Industry.

The Role:
Brownfield Project Engineer.

• As part of the Project Team, the post-holder will provide HSSE leadership and show commitment to no accidents, no harm to people and no damage to the environment.
• The candidate will be a key part of ensuring that design intent is met, and integrity maintained throughout the fabrication and installation.
• The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the completions and certification process (onshore and offshore) operated by the construction contractor meets our client's requirements and for the effective handover to commissioning.
• The candidate will be responsible for managing the documentation for the Brownfield scope within the asset management of change system.
• The candidate will support the contractor’s technical query process, ensuring queries are raised, closed and followed through as appropriate.
• The candidate will be responsible for monitoring the day to day activities of the contractor procurement and construction team onshore, ensuring issues are highlighted and supporting resolution of these.
• The candidate will be involved in supporting the fabrication of the Oil Export Pump preassembled unit.
• The post holder will work closely will support the Brownfield Project Manager in monitoring and reporting on progress.
• The candidate will be responsible for tracking all activities and supporting readiness for offshore activities per the asset planning gate system, attending weekly meetings.
• The candidate will have a close interface to the TAR team to ensure that the Brownfield scope is fully incorporated in the TAR planning and supporting the delivery through these crucial phases.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• The post holder will be a Chartered engineer, or working towards Chartership.
• The candidate will ideally have solid experience of working on offshore projects.
• The candidate will have a thorough knowledge of industry Project and Engineering and Quality management practices.
• The candidate will be a good communicator and be able to work effectively within an integrated Team of both staff and Contractor personnel.
• The candidate will have a track record in proactively recognising and solving issues.
• The candidate will be able to work proactively with minimum day to day supervision.
• Will be located between the PSN and staff offices in Aberdeen
• Required NS Offshore survival certification
• Travel will be required
