The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Working within the Suspension Systems Tuning Group, the Project Engineer TVM
- is responsible for the delivery of a pre-defined list of cost saving opportunities. Damper, Spring & Stabiliser Bar Systems, within the SST department. Engineer is responsible for achieving performance targets to facilitate meeting dynamic and durability requirements. Close interaction is required across suspension teams, other chassis functions and suppliers in order to achieve this.

Key Responsibilities
- Ownership & delivery of SST TVM Deck.
- Ensure components meet or exceed performance targets.
- Ensure components adhere to departmental standards.
- Effective planning and delivery of TVM Deck, detail design, durability and validation.
- Delivery of Timing Plans and Design Verification Plans (DVP).
- Release of Engineering Drawings & Changes (WERS)
- Supplier discussions and communications
- Resolution of engineering issues throughout process (AIMS)
- Working with other team members where applicable.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Knowledge of chassis suspension
- Ability to Project Manage component changes.
- Proven ability to deliver robust, high performance engineering, against a fixed timeframe.
- Effective communication and team working skills
Engineering degree (preferably Mechanical or Automotive)

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Experience of component design to deliver performance attributes (durability, stiffness, weight, cost)
- Proven ability to deliver against a fixed timeframe.
- Supplier management and control
