The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
This person will support the Module Leaders in providing the interface between the Brakes Design and Development Groups and the Chassis Project Leader

Responsibilities will be to support the following:
Delivery of braking system and components to client Programme gateway requirements.
Supporting braking teams (Lead Engineers and PAT leaders) as the project focus on all aspects of launch delivery
Developing and delivering the braking system targets and delivery plan
Monitor and direct the system delivery to ensure successful project gateway compliance
Manage parts procurement and change management to support all builds.
Maintain active control of project prototype expenditure and D&D budgets.
Supporting the team in the resolution of braking system issues, this may include leading the solution of multi-functional problems involving e.g. NVH, Safety, Chassis Dynamics, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Supplier Technical Audit.
Component supplier management."

The role will be Warwickshire based, with occasional travel.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Project Management
High drive, self-motivated and able to deliver with minimum supervision.
Able to communicate confidently at all levels within the business and the supply base.
Engineering complex mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems.
Understanding of automotive chassis and braking systems is desired.
Familiar with GPDS/PCDS, AIMs, eFDS/RMDV and Gateway disciplines.
Confident in the application of FTEP quality and reliability disciplines, particularly FMEA.
Candidates must be committed, flexible and able to work under pressure.
Good PC skills and must be IT literate.
In the role the candidate will develop a working knowledge of engineering disciplines and understand and use key delivery systems (eFDVS, RMDV, WERS, AIMS, GPDS, PCS, APQP etc.). ¿ UK Full Cat B driving licence (or equivalent) Key Word Search Criteria:

Experience of Automotive new model activities
Concept to launch environment
Preferably in the role of project leader or commodity/ system leader or similar.
Successful delivery of chassis engineering module for an automotive OEM
Experience in an automotive engineering or development environment
Masters in Engineering or Business
