The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
The Project Co-ordinator supports the team of Engineers in achieving robust, efficient designs for SSA components whilst also meeting commitments for business requirements/metrics. Responsibilities for this role include (but are not limited too):- creating and driving through design change documents (PACNs, Concerns), collating test and spares requirements, monitoring business measurables (AIMs, eFDVS, etc), assisting in development of engineering specifications and validation documents (ES, DVP), monitoring resource requirements, etc. Versitility will be key to the role which will be an integral part of a design engineering team responsible for numerous components and programmes. An ability to monitor, drive through and complete tasks across this range of components, programmes and systems will be vital. Communication within the team and across other business functions will also be important in this position. Ideally this person will become the team 'expert' in efficient delivery through JLR processes.

Skills Required:
- Strong communication skills at all levels required. - Ability to monitor, drive through multiple tasks to completion. - Attention to detail to collate accurate information and follow process - Be a proactive, positive team member with a 'can-do' attitude - Presentation of information within the team and seniors as required - MS Office literate - Willingness to learn and help the team develop more efficient processes/methods.

Skills Preferred:
- Enthusiasm for automotive engineering and delivering premium vehicles.

Experience Required:
Working within a design & engineering delivery environment - Ability to monitor and deliver multiple tasks to agreed standards and timescales - Ability to collate and control information from a large team.

Experience Preferred:
Prior experience of working within OEM environment - Knowledge of JLR release processes (WERS, PACN, etc) - Knowledge of JLR business metrics (AIMS, eFDVS, etc) - Suspension systems knowledge.

Education Required:
- minimum A Level or equivalent

Education Preferred:
- Some form of Technical Qualifcation (Engineering e.g. HNC, HND, etc)

Additional Information :
40 hour week - 15.30 Friday finish
