The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Department Chassis SST (Suspension Systems Tuning) department is part of Chassis Product Development and responsible for delivery of Struts, Dampers, Spring Systems & Air Suspension. This Role is as a Quality engineer. The role. The successful applicant will be engaged as a Suspension Systems Tuning - chassis quality engineer, and be responsible for support the quality team with challenging technical issues from the field. Key Responsibilities Managing Quality concerns related to design, specification and processes. The quality engineer will carry out complex technical investigations and deploy countermeasure actions that reduce warranty cost and improve customer satisfaction. Take hands on approach to locally re producing concerns and analysing defective parts. Responsible for leading QSFs and White Alerts. Managing projects with multi-functional teams (Factory, Service, Purchasing and Design) Reporting problem status and future activities to senior managers as required. The role might require to travel overseas to the relevant markets. Develop and maintain a strong team with the suppliers quality and engineering teams as required.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Excellent knowledge of Chassis suspension systems and components. Excellent knowledge of manufacturing processes Demonstrable Problem solving skills Good project management skills Proven passion for the data quality discipline IT skills required, MS Excel proficiency. Good interpersonal skills. Outstanding attention to detail. Ability to work with little or no supervision. Talent for quickly learning new tasks. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Black Belt/ Green Belt Training. University degree in Automotive Engineering/ Equivalent industry experience.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Knowledge of existing engineering standards and processes. (AWS, PAWS, etc.).
