The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
The candidate will contribute towards the design and delivery of all aspects of the brake controls system on the allocated vehicle programmes or platforms. The candidate will work with the Lead Engineers to deliver the technical and gateway deliverables on a brake controls programme.

To be part of the multi-functional team who will deliver: -
* DFMEA/Quality tool application contributing to the design process
* Supplier sourcing
* Management & Supplier programme status reporting
* Issue management & resolution
* Engineering design release
* Delivery of component PPAP
* Brake control system launch into volume production

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to confidently present project status reports to supplier and internal senior teams.
* Comprehensive ability to work with MS Office applications and manage large numbers of records in different formats.
* Ability to work in fast paced environment
* Key Word Search Criteria Engineering
* Engineering design Project Planning
* Degree in a Mechanical Engineering discipline

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
* Full UK driving license for Cat B vehicles
