The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
The successful candidate will be required to carry out the following key responsibilities:

- Leading Materials Engineering composites activities on Technology Strategy Board (TSB) and European Agency funded projects
- Development of standards and materials requirements for composite materials.
- Working with Engineering teams to support the introduction of composite materials
- Liaising with suppliers and materials engineering to validate composite materials solutions.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- A high level of technical knowledge of Composite materials, processes and testing
- A high level of supplier management skills High level of communication skills, both written and verbal
- High drive, self-motivated and able to deliver with minimum supervision.
- Organisational and Project Management skills.
- General computing and basic software e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc. Candidates will ideally be educated to degree level
- Experience of Composites design, specification and manufacture required in either
- Academic or Commercial environment.
- Full training will be given on in house systems.
