The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Module leader for the development and application of the vehicle supervisory control system for a hybrid demonstrator vehicle. This encompasses planning, reviewing, recommending, agreeing technical scope and deliverables, supporting the control engineers with control software development and testing, supporting calibration activities, problem investigation and resolution.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of embedded control system development using Simulink and TargetLink
- Knowledge of hybrid and engine control systems and hybrid / engine hardware
- Strong personal behaviours, team work and effective relationships, to guide the team in delivery
- Strong planning and analytical skills
- Good communicator
- Simulink / Matlab
- Familiar with running of engine test facilities / HIL / SIL / vehicles
- Experience of calibration and control of automotive control units.
- Analysis and presentation of test data
- Full driving licence

- Enthusiastic, self-motivated and be able to demonstrate initiative
- An ability to manage multiple tasks
- The organisation and drive to follow tasks through to a successful outcome
- An ability to work independently or part of a team
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, including a diplomatic and professional approach when dealing with customers; both external and internal to the company
- Ability to follow and/or implement processes
- An understanding of the engineering V & V process applicable to model-based design and software development
- Knowledge of hybrid supervisory control systems
