The Company:
A luxury Automotive OEM based in the West Midlands. After continued growth & success there are a number of new exciting engineering projects underway and we currently have requirements for experienced engineering professionals.

The Role:
Key Responsibilities & Tasks
•Lead the tuning and integration of E-Diff in to the Stability Control System and Vehicle Dynamics Attribute through to sign off of our client's products from concept to production, in co-ordination with the Chassis Design team & the design freeze schedule for the program component content.
•Use subjective and objective measures to support the delivery of AYC, ABS and TCS systems to achieve appropriate levels of programme specific end-user performance.
•Support Target Setting, development & sign off of the complete Vehicle Dynamics.
•Co-ordinate benchmarking, target setting & characterisation process, liaising with Adams/Simulation engineers as appropriate for solutions and CAE correlation.
•Assist in the design process by problem resolution to the relevant component areas
•Support relevant PMT/PAT meetings as required
•Write Engineering Reports to support the above
•Write local Processes/Procedures as required
•Investigate and test future technologies for input to new products.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Extensive experience within an automotive or automotive components supplier group.
•Experience of tuning Stability Control Systems (AYC, ABS, TCS).
•Experience of tuning E-Diff to meet Vehicle Dynamics targets.
•Experience of Vehicle Dynamics testing or development.
•High degree of performance vehicle limit handling experience.
•Good understanding of the theory of Vehicle Dynamics. Experience of testing at European proving grounds.
•Excellent analytical skills
•AMPCS knowledge or equivalent process knowledge (GPDS, FPDS)
•Strong time management, accuracy, diligence, ability to balance and prioritise multiple tasks to meet customer needs
•Competent in all Microsoft Office toolset with experience of writing engineering test reports
• Must be willing to frequently travel and test at overseas proving grounds
