Job Title: Project Engineer (E&I) - (Thai Nationality)
Job Location: Thailand
Residency: TH

The Role:
To be single point responsible for the detail design, procurement, tender management, construction supervision, commissioning, project management, and overall execution of ECM/IP Projects, Modifications and Work Request.

Key Accountabilities :-
•Provide input and work with Engineering and Technology Department (EET) to and / or review Basis of Design and budgets developed by others to ensure budgets and technical proposals acceptable.
•Continuous monitoring progress and being proactive in taking corrective action where necessary complete projects "on time and within budget". Especial emphasis is to be put on co-ordinating overall materials procurement activities. IT is the clear responsibility of the engineer to continuous checking and expediting to ensure the project will meet the plan. Delays / variation to be advised to ECM/IP.
•Address problems in a logical way ensuring they are systematically analyzed, root causes or objectives identified, existing practices challenged and that solutions represent the correct balance between practical and traditional or new approaches. On occasion, following consultation with ECM/P and approval by ECM.
•Be continuously aware of assigned project progress and budget / contract status and, it necessary, initiate corrective action prior to authorities being exceeded. Where corrective action requires revision of budget ensure full explanation of the deviation and justification for continuation is included. Revise and update budget for the annual review cycles ensuring full explanation for changes is included.
•Ensure that contract board procedures are strictly complied with for all appropriate material procurement and construction contract activities. In general these submissions are prepared personally based on advice from specialists, and ECM/IP.
•Provide technical advice /problem resolution on request during the construction and commissioning phases and ensure that as-built drawings are received
•Ensure that ECM/Ip is routinely briefed on Project activities and immediately draw attention to any problems or significant changes in project plant.
•Be personality proactive in identifying improvements and enhancements to the existing facilities.
•Be aware of changing International Standards and make timely requests for new of revised codes, standard, etc,
•Ensure all company site supervisor are fully aware of their contractors SSHE management obligations and these are enforced.
•Ensure to obtain necessary approval on the project from local and official concerned authorities and stakeholders to smooth out the project implementation.
•Supervise consultant / Inspection firm to ensure construction phase of project proceed in accordance with the design and standard, and in compliance with Company SSHE policies and safety regulation /specification as agreed in the Contract.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Familiar with Offshore/Onshore Oil and Gas industry.
•Expert in variety of design, estimation, material take-off in instrument and control system and construction work for oil and gas field, piping, P&ID, GA, ISO, and structure and knowledge of other skills involved such that the interfaces are correctly addressed and manage.
•Experience or familiar with Instrument and control systems drawing at designer capacity.
•Competent to manage and supervise the team in project type work (planning, scheduling, administration etc.)
•English communication both speaking/reading, and reporting.
•Knowledgeable and familiar with relative international engineering code such as API, ASTM, ASME etc.
