The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Electrical Business Management is the department within Electrical Engineering that provides central business planning, management of processes, resources, budget control and improvements to the Electrical organisation. This is led by the Factory Manager and facilitated through the Factory Manager Leadership Group (FMLG) within Product Development (PD). The Business Planner will control and oversee all the Product Development Letters, Resource Planning, Headcount, EPAS, APC handovers and Business Improvement, whilst supporting the Factory Manager. The role will also manage the synchronicity between 2 other roles and workload to ensure deadlines are met and information cascaded is aligned. The role will have to make decisions and cascade and report out to the department and Senior's in reviews the decisions and information.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate the ability to lead the resolution of business, technical and process issues within a Project Team environment and be able to represent the Factory Manager and Business Management team at Senior meetings. * Good communication, interpersonal skills, self-confidence and a passion for the product are personal qualities needed to succeed in this environment * Good Organisational Skills, being self-motivated and able to deliver with minimum supervision. * Experience of project management, meeting demanding timescales, budget control and cost-effective delivery.
Previoius project management experience is essential to the role.
Business/Engineering Mangement Degree or HNC is desirebale or equivalent experience.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Previous experience within Programmes or PD Operations is considered desirable, with a good working knowledge of product development processes and GPDS. * Previous experience of leading a team is desireable.
