The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Drive MBPE capability projects in the area of model-based design and simulation of embedded control systems.
Liaise with external partners and universities in order to scope and execute MBPE projects.
Drive MBPE integration with model-based requirements engineering.
Assist the development of MBPE standards and processes.
Manage DVP teams MBPE compliance through RMDV2.
Drive supplier reviews for compliance against MBPE standards and processes.
Provide direction and support across PD departments to enable MBPE best practices.
Assist MBPE technical specialist with MBPE future strategies and deployments
Assist the creation and delivery of MBPE training across PD.
Liaise with EESE to capture MBPE requirements and identify capability gaps

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Knowledge of Mathworks, IBM, dSPACE and NI toolsets.
Knowledge of PCS and MBPE processes.
Knowledge of SysML and systems engineering methodology.
Knowledge of automotive networks and ECU software development.
Experience in model-based design for automotive embedded software.
Experience in process and capability gap analysis.
Experience in RMDV2 toolset
Experience in scoping and development of modeling and simulation related projects.
Experience in virtual verification methods and process both at component and vehicle level.
Effective team leadership skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
An Engineering Degree in an appropriate technical discipline such as Systems and Simulation preferred.
