The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
This position offers a unique opportunity for a talented and enthusiastic individual to join an established department.
Product Development whose primary focus is on improving vehicle software quality through robust design processes.
The primary role of this Technical Analyst position is to assist the Project Management Co-ordinator in the effective running of the Software Quality team.
In addition to this, the candidate will be expected to develop a process for the identification of ECU status.
The solution will invariably involve a database, and a full set of requirements for this database will have to be developed, taking into account current and future stakeholders (e.g. APC and GRADE teams).
The position will involve frequent liaison with internal departments and engineers, and with the supplier base.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
3 key skills;
Excellent organisation and planning skills.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Able to communicate with personnel at any level.
Proven problem-solving skills in a technical environment.
Proven administrative skills in a technical environment. Excellent computer literacy (including MS-Office). Self-motivated and able to work to a high standard with minimum supervision. Able to develop and present metrics and status reports.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Experience of working in the automotive industry. Experience of working with databases.
