Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

Position Description:
"An exciting opportunity is available in Smart Settings group within Electrical Engineering Department to further strengthen market leader position in Self Learning Car and Smart Settings areas. Smart Settings group is responsible for delivering Premium Cabin features including Artificial Intelligence systems, Personalisation and Identification. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing team as a project manager/project leader. Responsibilities include project planning and management to lead the project through from design to development and launch following the V-Model, Managing and communicating risks, managing budget and funding process, resource planning, stakeholder alignment and management, Issues tracking and management, software release scheduling and management. The position the candidate is applying for is to support new electrical technology integration into vehicle-lines. The electrical technologies will support a range of new and exciting features that will be integrating into its vehicle lines over the coming years. Primary responsibility is to manage the delivery of the projects and ensure that the project deliverables are met within budget and on time. The position will require close working relationships across the business, in particular Electrical Engineering and Research.

1. Excellent project management skills (planning, tracking, reporting, presenting, organising, risk management etc..) Team leadership and motivation skills. Candidates will need excellent open communication and organisational skills. Self-motivated with good interpersonal and team working skills. Full and clean driving licence. Project Management tools such at MS Project."
2. " Interpersonal and Qualifications: Formal project management certification (APMP, Prince 2, others). Strong Microsoft Excel skills. Self-motivated, deliver with minimum supervision. Agile, swiftly adjust in changing environment. Flexible team player, able to liaise at all levels within the organisation. Strong team player with leadership skills. Full and clean driving licence.
3. "Working with a diverse skill set covering project management, design, manufacture installation and commissioning. The ability to manage multiple project at the same time. Strong software project management experience. Good electrical and software background. Understanding of V-Model."

Experience Required:
Proven track record in Project Management of numerous projects.
This includes: ¿ Drive complex issues to conclusion through focus on results and a structured approach. Working to deadlines under pressure. Influencing multiple internal and external (supplier) stakeholders to achieve final results. Managing budgets, costs and raising orders. Developing and managing to a well structure project schedule. Constructing and maintaining Business Case. Working within a diverse team and leading by example."

Education Required:
"Degree level. Recognised Project Management qualification e.g. Prince 2 or APMP"
