The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
ETO is a rapidly growing division within the clients that develops additional cosmetic components for our customers. Parts such as Body kits, Special Editions all fall within the ETO division. Working within the Perceived Quality department the role is to ensure the ETO components meet the Cosmetic Standard requirements. Develop and maintain ETO component contents manuals for all relevant car lines. Creation of data to support ETO programmes, support meetings, run Optical Quality sessions and provide Attribute Management support. Competitor Benchmarking to help in the creation of targets. Maintain all data to ensure it is up to date at all times for Management to be able to run status programmes for report out events. Facilitate discussions between all required parties to ensure all compatibility issues are resolved for timely delivery.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Ability to use the tools within Microsoft office inc. Excel, Powerpoint, Word etc.. Engineering knowledge of Trim component design, material specification and manufacture, function, performance, production and Manufacturing requirements in the Automotive sector. Proven project timeline Management. Ability to take the initiative and lead projects. Engineering knowledge of component Engineering design interfaces. Understanding of Engineering Design.
Proven history within the Automotive sector.
Ideally degree educated.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Any person supplied should have a valid UK driving licence and meet the medical requirements of the clients facilities Working knowledge of project delivery processes
GPDS / FPDS/PCS
A working understanding of V5 would be beneficial but not critical.
