The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
ETO PVT (Current Engineering) Project Engineer.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
ETO (Engineer To Order) covers Special Vehicles, Accessories, Military and Limited Edition vehicle activities. It is a fast paced expanding team at the forefront, which is constantly being challenged to bring high quality solutions to market in the fastest possible timescale. ETO-PVT is a small close knit team which is part of the ETO Quality organisation. It consistently exceeds its targets and this is expected to continue throughout 2013. Reporting to the PVT Principal Engineer - the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
1. To identify and prioritise key Quality & Warranty cost improvement opportunities to help to meet ETO's departmental objectives.
2. Create and lead cross functional problem solving teams.
3. Manage Engineering running change actions through both the in-house ETO STAR process and the Company WERS process. (Training available).
4. Ensure adherence to the 8D process by Engineering and Suppliers.
5. Provide prevent recurrence information

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Product Engineering Design, or Development, or Testing experience.
Supplier management experience.
A broad knowledge of all vehicle areas is desirable.
Design development and release experience is essential.
Flexible & motivated. Prepared to work at all of the clients and supplier sites depending on project requirements.
Proven ability to manage own workload, work on multiple tasks and lead small teams.
Able to present information in a concise and factual manner.
Working knowledge systems, WERS, eFDVS, DFMEA, DVP, AWS, PAWS, etc.
Proficient at data analysis (warranty, etc) to identify significant trends
Knowledge of processes Ideally previous PVT/PD/STA experience
