The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Working within the ETO Finance Team the Project Engineer (Finance) will:
Take a leading role in developing and maintaining vehicle specific bill-of-materials (BOMs) with engineers, programme leaders (PL's) and programme managers (PM's) across the ETO division for all vehicle programmes.
Assist in development of protoype fiancial requirements by programme
Assist in creation and development of programme specific financial tracking systems (redbooks) with PM's / PL's
Maintain accurate financial data records
Control any changes through the PACN process and ensure accuracy of changes against current redbook status
Ensure programme redbooks are up-to-date, particularly at relevant programme management gateways

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Importantly, the successful applicant will need to understand the basic composition of major engineered systems within automotive vehicles and how they interact with each other.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications particulalry Excel and Access Proactive self-starter with good interpersonal skills
Ability to challenge proposals and influence programme decision making
Organised, with an eye for detail and ability to follow processes
Good knowledge of major automotive vehicle systems.
Experience of cost management, with an engineering understanding, ideally within the automotive industry or similar
Engineering or Finance Degree, or similar qualifications.
Significant relevant experience with other qualifications will be considered

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Knowledge of system competency PACNs/ AIMs / WERS / WIPS .
Knowledge of the GPDS gateway process
Knowledge of the LQOS process
