The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
The role involves working as part of a small team that review and benchmark all outsource component test activities to ensure Value For Money. The role involves the following:
Conduct complete analysis of component test activities i.e quantities, cost.
Lead / support engineering discussions on component testing requirements.
Lead / support discussions with internal facility managers / team to ensure internal facilities are fully utilised.
Lead / support cost discussions with the clients test sites and the clients component suppliers.
Lead / support strategic discussions regarding component test requirements.
Deliver all required administration, task management and planning.
You may be required to travel within and outside of the UK "

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Excellent negotiation skills.
Good analytic / numerical skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, flexibility, self-motivated and a passion for the role.
An intermediate knowledge level in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Able to deliver excellent results whilst meeting tight deadlines.
A team player, totally flexible, committed and motivated to deliver in all circumstances especially within a small team environment

Experience of Supplier management & negotiation.
Good commercial experience.
Previous experience of working in a team environment yet able to deliver excellent results with complete autonomy.
Experience of working to tight deadlines.

Should have a valid UK driving licence.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Good Presentation Skills.
Good organisational & prioritisation skills

Knowledge of Automotive Components advantageous.
Experience of working with Automotive Suppliers.
Automotive Industry experience, preferably within the client.
Experience of the clients systems and processes.
