The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
As a facilities & Site Services ELECTRICAL Project Engineer, you will potentially manage all aspects of a given project refurbishment / maintenance installations, across Gaydon & Whitley. You will need to be customer focused delivering projects to cost, quality and timing, managing customer expectations and any conflict along the way. A further task would be to define and record best practice through standards / standardisation meetings for the wider teams.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
The successful candidate should have/be:- Excellent communication skills oral and written. Good presentation skills.. Planning and time management skills, An understanding of budget control. A good team player. Self-motivated. Not afraid to report out to senior management. A Project Engineer should have the experience to manage all types of projects and sub-contractors. You will need have an understanding of timing, cost & quality control. With an a further understanding of design drawings and use 2D AutoCAD along with Microsoft Office suite. A good school and college education is a must. Also have 3 years minimum experience as project engineer.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Be able to monitor project costs and/or adjustments, paying attention to the original margins set and advising management when deviations occur. Co-ordinate and maintain all engineering documents, and design change information. Knowledge of facilities planning and construction management process, Knowledge of construction materials and methods along with supervisory practise and principles.
