The Role:
Manage Contractor activities with respect to fabrication of subsea pipeline spools and structures through overseeing all site works.

• Manage Company and Contractor’s site supervision teams to ensure Company HSE Policy and HSE targets are met and safe working environment is provided for the fabrication, load-out and sailaway program for all fabricated spools and structures.
• Implement Company construction methods to the fabrication, load-out and sailaway program for all fabricated spools and structures
• Monitor & control Contractors QC department and Reporting System.
• Provide support to offshore operations during critical installation activities, commissioning periods, mobilisation etc.

Responsibilities
• Ensure a safe site environment and encourage the proactive identification of hazards and associated risks.
• Represent Company in Contractor’s offices and topsides yard and Marine Base as required.
• Monitor & control Contractors Fabrication, Load-out and Sailaway activities.
• Monitor & control Contractors progress and schedule throughout all phases of the work
• Monitor & control Contractors planning and reporting and investigate any anomalies for all phases of the work
• Maintain site-reporting systems and provide input to Company project services management reports.
• Integrate with Contractor construction teams to ensure vigorous control of works.
• Liaison with Contractors site supervision team for technical, HSE, and progress matters.
• Ensure that lessons learned are appropriately considered.
• Identify unresolved problems to the site management.
• Review Contractor’s technical proposals and fabrication works to ensure they meet the requirements for offshore installation activities.
• Create and encourage Company Site Team working and harmony.
• Lead by example in HSE, Quality and open communication with team and Contractors.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• ONC or similar construction/fabrication qualifications.
• CSWIP 3.2, PCN Level 2, Welding and NDT qualifications (preferred/optional)
• Historical experience of welding engineering, QC and NDT
• A minimum of 10 years experience as Company Representative on pipeline construction and subsea installation projects.
• Confirmed record of success on onshore/offshore pipeline construction and subsea fabrications and installation projects.
• Experience of working in Azerbaijan (preferable)
• Familiar with International Construction techniques and workforces in the pipeline & subsea installation industry.
• Familiar with health, safety, environmental, security and quality issues.
• Good Team player with interpersonal and presentation skills, familiar with working with Operators
• Familiar with dealing with various nationalities and cultures
• Capable of identifying problem areas early and proactively resolving issues
• Capable of establishing good working relationships with Contr
