The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Hardware Component Engineer within the Hybrid Components Team.
You will be responsible for delivery of the supporting / protective components that hold and house our High Voltage Electronics.
Key tasks include: Working with supplier and Supplier Technical Assurance teams to develop complex bracketry.
Manage engineering changes and DV testing to completion

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Applied working knowledge of DFMEA, PFEMA, APQP Techniques. Knowledge of Metal Pressings and Fabrication techniques. Project mangagement skills. Good communication and MS Office Skills.
Experience in manufacturing mechanical components for automotive applications in a launch environment essential.
Previous experience of delivering Components from conception to production.
Good understanding of Metal Pressings and Fabrication Techniques. Experience of sourcing and delivering complex brackets
Equivilent of HNC / D or above in an Engineering Field.
