The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Reporting to the Hybrid Programme Leader, the successful candidate will be responsible for a number of Hybrid Core and Hybrid application related Projects.
Specific tasks will include, but not exclusive to, running Hybrid Project and Programme meetings, co-ordinating the Hybrid team to deliver against project/program requirements and be responsible for management of investment and material costs for Hybrid Projects and Programmes (chairman, agenda preparation and issuing of minutes), creation and ownership of GTDS (& PCS) Timing plans.

The individual will be responsible for management of all GTDS deliverables including selection of applicable deliverables, evidence to satisfy deliverable, identification of peer reviews, demonstration strategies to generate technical evidence, and gateway submissions. Also the successful candidate will ensure lessons learnt are captured to be implemented in future Programmes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all approved projects and programs are supported with appropriate skills, resources and all gateway requirements and deliverables are met,reporting this out in i-3 for post PS programs. The successful candidate will also be reporting the Hybrids status at forums within the Hybrid team and to external departments with Senior management present. The successful candidate will also have to work closely with the CoC's to insure a robust information exchange or handover happens at the appropriate point if using GTDS and also ensuring the successful delivery programs.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Strong Leadership skills
Self motivated and able to deliver with minimum supervision
Good interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to interact and communicate effectively at all levels within the organisation
A sound technical knowledge of key vehicle systems and whole vehicle engineering
The ability to manage complex technical issues - to balance conflicting needs of the business, within project quality, cost and timing constraints
Advanced user of Microsoft Office packages including MSProject
Full UK driving licence
Experience in delivering and managing Product Development project
Experience in the Soft elements of Project Management

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Experience of GTDS, PCS, RMDV and AIMS processes (desirable)
Be qualified to HND/degree level - desirable
