The Company:
A leading Australian coal seam gas explorer and producer focused on developing its world-class reserves for domestic and international supply.
The Role:
The Project Engineer - Infrastructure will execute all engineering and construction work on the infrastructure section of the project. You will liaise between the company and the EPC to during the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning phases.
Responsibilities include:
• Coordinating the engineering and construction of infrastructure to ensure deadlines are met
• Ensuring all requirements are met with relevant commercial and business considerations taken into account
• Contributing to the management of budgets, plans and technical decisions relating to infrastructure
• Reporting on the project status and requirements
• Interfacing with other departments effectively
Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Tertiary qualifications, or equivalent years experience
• Experience in a similar role on major Oil & Gas projects in Australia
• Technical knowledge gained from practical experience and an awareness of commercial requirements
• Ability to interface with other technical disciplines
Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Chartered membership, or equivalent
