The Company:
Our Client Business is the exploration, production, refining, trading and distribution of energy.

The Role:
KEY ROLES

• Work with the installation contractor to define the installation methodology, including definition of marine fleet and equipment, required for installation of the pin piles, jackets and topsides.
• Support a continuous effort in optimising schedule flexibility to meet gas delivery dates.
• Work with the Project design engineers in terms of installation support and opportunities.
• Liaise and interface with installation contractors and various technical study teams.
• Be prepared to supply input to bid documents and participate in bid evaluations.
• Ensure Company QHS&E Management Systems are implemented and complied with.
• Monitor the installation contractors engineering deliverables, planning activities and develop reports for management and planning group.
• Liaise with the Project Marine Warranty Survey contractor during the review and approval of offshore installation procedures.
• Participate in HAZID and Readiness Reviews, as required
• Participate in risk & opportunity reviews throughout the project term.

• Installation Lead for Jackets, Topsides & Subsea System

RESPONSIBILITIES & OBJECTIVES

• Develop and refine the transport and installation methodology for the project pin piles, jackets and topsides to be installed using the Caspian marine fleet, upgraded where necessary.

• Responsibilities will include the development of offshore installation techniques and procedures for the pin piles, jackets and topsides, taking into account the lessons learnt during the project.

• Work with the engineering design team and liaise with installation contractor in the development of installation procedures which comply with Company, Project, National and International specifications, codes and standards throughout the Project ’Select and ‘Define’ stages.

• Undertake management of the offshore Installation activities through the ‘Execute’ phase of the Project.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Chartered Engineer/University degree or equivalent relevant qualification in Engineering

• At least 10 years offshore engineering & installation experience within the Oil & Gas industry

• Working knowledge of pin piles, jackets and topsides installation technology with direct experience of project engineering, scheduling and bid evaluation and technical contract management.

• Awareness of, and familiarity with, International Codes, Standards, Industry Guidelines and Practices related to Marine Installation activities.

• Proven capability in assessing and evaluating risks and opportunities.

• Knowledge of QHS&E Management Systems.

• Strong presentation skills and software knowledge/competence.

• Good interpersonal skills in a multi-discipline, multi culture environment
