We are currently seeking an experienced Project Engineer – Instrumentation Specialist to join the Project Management Team, which is responsible for capital project execution starting from FEED till commissioning, for widespread The largest oil company in Saudi Arabia oil and gas operations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Suitable candidates will develop project functional specifications for process control systems (PCS’s) and field instrumentation that fully comply with The largest oil company in Saudi Arabia standards and specifications. You will develop instrument indices and lists such as instrument indexes, I/O lists, instrument ranges, and alarm set points. Conduct safety integrity level (SIL) studies and participate in hazard and operability reviews (HAZOPs). Other aspects of the work include providing design assistance during the development of P&IDs and cause and effect and control narratives. Develop instrument loop diagrams (ILDs), instrument segment diagrams (ISDs) and instrument specification sheets (ISS’s) using Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI) Intools. The candidate must be willing to travel and relocate as the job dictates.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
EDUCATION: B.S. degree in Engineering or a related field from an accredited university. An M.S. degree is preferred but is not essential.
EXPERIENCE: 15 years of post-graduate work experience as an Instrument Engineer. Must have a good command of written and oral communication in English.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
You will lead preliminary design reviews (PDRs) and critical design reviews (CDRs) prior to PCS development. Provide design assistance in the identification, sizing, selection and procurement of field instrumentation including control valves. Review and approve material requisitions (MRs) for all project field instrumentation including control valves, on-off valves and fire and gas detection. Review and approve technical bid evaluations (TBEs) for all project field instrumentation including control valves, and assure technical compliance to the largest oil company in Saudi Arabia standards and project specification. Provide technical support to project management activities, procurement and project controls through all project cycle and answer technical queries raised by contractors when required. Attend factory acceptance tests (FATs) of the PCS and resolve any technical issues before shipment to site. Conduct SATs and integration Site acceptance tests (ISATs) for all PCS’s. Lead inst
