The Company:
Our client is a large multi-national Oil and Gas Operator which explores, develops, produces and markets crude oil, gas and sulfur. They pride themselves on conducting operations in accordance with world–class safety and environmental standards.

The Role:
Provide Engineering Services including but not limited by; project management, discipline engineering, design drawings, quality reviews, administration, contract/subcontract administration, supervision, inspection, quality assurance, materials management and completion and management personnel at locations where engineering fabrication or engineering related activities are occurring.
•Safe work processes and procedures (Company and contractor)
•Display a breath of experience and knowledge to project engineering
•Have excellent project management skills that are proactively applied to all operations
•Have strong understanding of related disciplines and proactively seek such knowledge to best accomplish job tasks
•Recognized as a technical expert within discipline and for cross-functional business by peers
•Has achieved a broad base of technological expertise in several fields. Consistently applies these principles and theories in areas of responsibility
•Applies technical expertise to projects and effectively coordinates support activities
•Seeks to advance technology in speciality field
•Utilizes cross-functional knowledge from several fields including other disciplines (i.e., Construction, Commissioning, Operations, HES, and business development, etc.), and utilizes this knowledge in solving more complex business issues
•Well-developed project management skills for complex projects
•Applies general knowledge of all phases of Project Development & Execution Process (CPDEP) including front-end loading and project execution
•Often applies knowledge learned through industry network to solve problems within business unit/organization
•Participates in and insures others follow Operational Excellence (OE) processes
•May supervise several less experienced engineers
•Champion and ensures the use of safe work practices and procedures and is a role model with respect to safety leadership behaviors
•Acts as Project Engineering Advisor
•Leads functions with higher level scope of work and complexity
•Review project engineering activity with long-term plans and focus. Also covers project controls management process to manage large scopes, including cost, schedule, safety and quality
•Provides evaluation of special or complicated engineering issues to resolve them for the benefit of projects and Company in whole
•Develop and maintain a strong, positive working relationship with the governmental and regulatory stakeholders for the project. Drive the development of the project Regulatory and Permitting Plan. Facilitate timely approval of all permits and approvals for the project
•Participate in Operational Excellence and IIF project activities. Participate in Operations Assurance (OA) project activities

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Technical engineering degree,
5-10 years relevant work experience, previous experience with water treatment projects is highly desirable.
Familiar policies, procedures, technical specifications, etc.; good business acumen and engineering management experience; and good business sense.
Candidate will be expected to mentor national staff.
