The Company:
Our Client is a global Energy Leader with a strong commitment to Honest and Ethical Business Practices within the Oil and Gas Industry. Our Client operates as an independent energy company. It has four segments: Oil and Gas, Syncrude, Energy Marketing, and Chemicals. The Oil and Gas segment explores, develops, and produces crude oil, natural gas, and related products.

The Role:
• Act as contract representative on specific projects/work scopes and contracts.
• Management of Engineering Contractor to develop packages of work to address the implementation of the interim / short term enhancements
• Develop an offshore implementation strategy to address the scopes via a campaigned package of activities
• Ultimately to pick up the PWRI scope as it transfers to BMP Team towards the end of Q2 this year and to begin the formation of an execution and contracting strategy in conjunction the Facilities Team and SCM
• Strive to create a safe workplace and to protect the environment and to ensure work is completed in compliance with corporate standards and SESR policies & procedures and industry regulations.
• Prepare cost & schedule estimates and reports.
• Undertake regular offshore visits to liaise with operations personnel.
• Develop and maintain positive and constructive relationships with key stakeholders e.g. OIMs, Field Managers, Joint Venture Partners, O&M teams, etc. and hold regular feedback meetings with these stakeholders.
• Represent the Company at meetings with joint venture partners, industry forums and government bodies. ]
• Openly and proactively share knowledge.
• Take ownership for the continuous development of personal and technical expertise and knowledge

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Degree [or equivalent ] in Project Engineering or related engineering discipline combined with Project Engineering experience

• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably gained within the oil and gas industry
• Proven track record of identifying and developing sound and innovative technical solutions
• Knowledge of associated technical/engineering disciplines e.g. instrument and controls, electrical engineering [ beneficial ].
• Technical proficiency in IT programmes/systems e.g. Excel, SAP MMS, engineering software
