The Company:

The Role:
Task 1:
General project engineering for miscellaneous, multi-disciplined, small platform maintenance and modification projects to be carried out from a jack-up accommodation unit stationed alongside the platform. Including co-ordination of (1) workpack preparation, (2) material procurement, (3) personnel and material logistics, (4) scheduling, and (5) cost-estimating.
Liaison with local Company in-house design, procurement, logistics and execution teams.
Liaison with regulatory bodies (including Lloyds as certification agency) and independent engineering contractor.

Task 2:
Co-ordinate with Company head office marine and survey specialists regarding placement of a jack-up accommodation unit next to a fixed platform in the UK Southern North Sea. To include rig tow to and from the platform location, final positioning, pre-load and jack-up, bridge connection to the platform, emergency systems interface to the platform, disconnection from the platform on completion, jack-down.
Including co-ordination of seabed surveys, rig on-hire and off-hire surveys, support vessel surveys, etc..

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Degree or HNC/HND in mechanical, civil/structural, process or instrument/electrical engineering subjects.
Extensive industry experience desired.
Sufficient fitness to pass offshore medical and to undergo offshore survival training.
Familiar with UK offshore legislation (especially Safety Case regulations) and marine classification systems (Lloyds, DNV, ABS, etc.).
