The Company:
Our client is a Global Engineering & Construction (E&C) Group inside which you’ll find an incredible range of expertise and opportunity.
They offer their clients a complete range of skills and services so that they can work with their teams right from the earliest ‘ideas’ stage of their planned investments, through the study or concept selection phase, the front-end design, the EPC phase, and on into the commissioning and start-up phase.

The Role:
This requirement is for Project Engineers who will be site based in the Teesside area.

Project Engineers will coordinate and manage areas of the work on a project or lead individual projects ensuring adequate multi-discipline and multi-centre coordination. The key aspects of the job are:

Manage engineering delivery

Cross-discipline coordination and problem resolution
Understanding and communication of scopes of work

Preparation of procedures

Client interface

Interface management between design and construction

Management and chair of key design reviews




Requirements
Applicants ideally must:

have significant experience in an appropriate industry (ideally in one or more of Oil & Gas, LNG & GTL, Petrochemicals, Chemicals, Pharmaceutical, Power) and be willing and able to work both in the UK and overseas.

The positions are primarily based in owner/operators offices thus it is necessary to have experience of site working and full project lifecycle. Hence experience in the role of owners engineers would be an advantage

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
BSc degree engineering Discipline

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Chartered Engineer
