The Company:
My client is heavily involved in the Installation and Maintenance of various Energy projects specifically relating to the Subsea sector. As part of continual expansion they are actively looking to recruit a Project Engineer based in there Essex offices.

The Role:
Duties:
• Make sure that the safest and most efficient solutions are implemented within project
• Devise and prepare methodologies/procedures for installation operations
• Prepare and execute interface plans & matrixes.
• Co-ordinate production of storyboards and drafting requirements
• Review of Project Data, and compliance evaluations for Section 36, EIA, FEPA, CPA etc.
• Prepare task plans to ensure key elements within procedures are complied with
• Build up an archive of standard procedures & method statements, to assist in making the organisation as efficient as possible
• To induce best practises from Subsea Construction into the team
• Prepare requests for provision of subcontractor services (Design/Manufacture/Supply)
• Conduct evaluation (technical and Financial) of received proposals from subcontractors
• Participate in project meetings with clients
• Support Project team in execution of Project
• Ensure elements under their remit are in compliance with corporate and Project Filing systems.
• Provide periodic reports on progress of assigned activities to Project Manager
• Potential scope exists to represent Project Team on site/offshore during installation phase

Experience / Qualifications:
• Experienced in offshore/subsea design and practices
• Engineering degree
• Knowledge of working under UK/European regulations
• Experience in International project work


Advantageous Abilities/Certification:
• Cable Lay/Umbilical Lay/Subsea construction experience an advantage
• Understanding of rigging/lifting operations an advantage
• Ability to use AutoCAD an advantage.
• Offshore Survival
• Offshore Medical
