Our client are specialist within the power, defence and nuclear industry. We are looking for project engineers who has some engineering and manufacturing experience.

The Role:
Our client are specialists within the power, defence and nuclear industry. We are looking for project engineers who has some engineering and manufacturing experience.

Delivery of specific work streams to time, cost and quality
Establishing and maintaining programmes and resource requirements to meet project objectives.
Attending progress review meetings to ascertain requirements and make inputs.
Identifying programme and resource risks.
Maintaining project costs within the cost control system.
Ensuring that the project manager is aware of all unresolved problems and support the project manager in all project related activities.
Produce reports as required by the Project Manager.
Monitoring sub contractor programmes.
Analysing costs and programme variances and proactively provide solutions.
Control of contract variations and change control registers and generation of claims documents on behalf of the PM.
Attend contract progress meetings as directed by the PM and produce data for review at same.
Deputise for the PM whenever nominated to do so.
Completing all Project Engineer task but also to be developed through career development plan.
Using established techniques for identifying potential project risks and applying corresponding risk mitigation measures.
Working within and maintaining records for all work to satisfy company standards and procedures and national quality and legal requirements.
Ensuring that the change control system is rigorously applied.
Applying commercial awareness expertise to support customer scope discussion including potential claims to customer.
Understanding the nature of contract variations and negotiating variation implications through to a satisfactory conclusion.
Influencing customers to source and support business winning opportunities.
Co-ordinating project management activities via effective management of the respective team members.
Complying with all Health, Safety and Environmental legislation and company standards.

Ideally backgrounds could be Food, Manufacturing, FMCG, Pharma, Automotive and Power.
