The Role:
Main Functions:
• Assist the Lead Project Engineer in management of various aspects of the project planning and execution.
• Stand-in, as appropriate, for other members of the PMT during absences.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
• During the FEED phase
- Assist the Lead Project Engineer as follows:
• Check the quality of the FEED contractor deliverables, in compliance with the FEED objectives and specifications. Anticipate these deliverables, and try to provide the input before the issue of the contractor documents.
• Participate to the various reviews such as: plot review, PID’s review, HAZOP, SIL classification, RAM study, constructability review,...
• Participate to the specifications challenge exercize, to include some of the OPCO requirements, taking into account the project objectives (safety, quality, schedule and cost).
• Liaise with OPCO representative in PMT, to ensure the right input as needed in the project design basis.
• Liaise with the Technical Services provider, to get in due time and as needed, the experts assistance during the FEED work.
• Assist the Process expert in the QRA study (including consequential decisions on the design of the Project).
• Ensure the input in Lessons learned process as required, according to the Project procedure.
• Coordinate external audits and reviews (IPR, etc) and ensure close-out of findings.
• Liaise with the interface engineers for all interface issues addressed during the FEED phase.
• Prepare the interface management documents as needed for the EPC phase.
• Identify and address technical and/or schedule issues, which may put at risk the project. Raise them to project management level as needed.
• Liaise with project controls group to monitor the execution of the project, and address any potential deviation.
• Provide to the FEED contractor the necessary support for them to execute their FEED study as planned.
• Liaise with the 3rd parties directly hired by Company, such as EIA advisor, soil investigation conractor, Control system integrator, soil improvement contractor, ..
• Check the quality of the technical input of the cost estimates,
• Prepare the execution plan for EPC phase, including the schedule and other plans (such as HSE, Quality, Construction, Engineering Surveillance, Commissioning, ..)

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Minimum 5-10 years of experience through multiple function and project assignments in engineering, construction, and project services activities, with a high priority in engineering.
• Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline.
• Broad knowledge of design standards, technical specifications, and work processes.
• Specific strong skill required in Mechanical disciplines
• Strong leadership, influencing, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational, coordination, planning, and interface skills.
• Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to read, write, and speak fluent English.
• Good overall computer skills and proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Adaptability to a multinational environment, with wide exposure to various cultures and customs.
