The Company:
I am representing a leading operator, with assets in the North Sea and also Abroad. My client is presently looking for a Project Engineer to join their dynamic team.

The Role:
The role is responsible for leading a number of projects on my client’s assets in the North Sea. The role will initiate, manage and prepare the basis of design and other documents like the Statement of requirements. The role will be working closely with design, Engineering, construction, commissioning and operational personnel.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

- Ensuring appropriate input from disciple engineers to ensure operational requirement are being met.
- Ensure design deliverables and construction work packs comply with all relevant practices, codes standards and procedures.
- Support construction and commissioning activities and provide technical and implementation support
- Promote safe design, working practices and procedures

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- BEng or BSc qualified
- Must have a proven track record working as a Project Engineer within the oil and gas industry.
- Experience of working project from deign right through to construction.
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of putting together work packs and converting them to construction work packs.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
- Chartered engineer
- COSHH HSE experience an advantage
